RideWay: Shared Internet Access for Networks
RideWay allows a Windows 95/NT workstation to share its Internet connection with other network workstations. Without changing the Microsoft dial-up networking settings, modems, cable modems, and ISDN cards become available for shared, concurrent access.
Other LAN users access different websites, newsgroups, and email POP3 accounts all at the same time via one Internet connection, using only one account at the Internet Service Provider.

Telemarketing Planning Tips
(Article 1 of a series)
How big of a list do I need?
Commonly, you can make 15-20 attempted call in an hour and you want to plan to make phone calls for at least 3 hours but no more than 4 hours a day. So for each day, plan to have 60 to 80 contacts to call.
What type of list do I get?
First, review all your existing customers and look for a common pattern (ie. industry type, geographical location, age, social or economic characteristics). Then, look for any existing lists in your office (ie. industry associations, chambers of commerce or past clients). And, if you need more names use the pattern you have found to buy more names from a list broker.
What is telemarketing success?
Normally, telemarketing has about a 10% success ratio. To track your success keep record of your phone calls. How many calls made. How many no's. How many yes's and how many call backs. From this information, you need to draw your own conclusions
about what types of lists are the most profitable for you.
